Journey

Dancer, choreographer and teacher, Régis Tsoumbou bakana discovered hip-hop in 2008 in Gabon before training at the École de Danse Afro-Contemporaine Irène Tassembedo (EDIT) in Ouagadougou, where he became a performer with Compagnie Irène Tassembedo. A graduate of EDIT in 2017 and holder of a degree in dance from Université Paris 8 Vincennes-Saint-Denis, he now pursues a choreographic practice at the crossroads of hip-hop and contemporary dance, notably within Compagnie DK-BEL.
